This five-day hands-on training course provides you with the knowledge, skills, and advanced skills to achieve proficiency in troubleshooting your VMware vSphere® 7.x environment. This workshop builds your skills and proficiency in using the command line interface, VMware vSphere® Client™, log files, and other tools to analyze and troubleshoot.

- VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage [V6.x]
- VMware vSphere: Optimize and Scale [V7]
- Equivalent administrative knowledge and experience with ESXi and vCenter Server
Some experience with a command line interface is highly recommended

- Introduce troubleshooting principles and procedures
- Use command line interfaces, log files, and the vSphere client to diagnose and troubleshoot problems in the vSphere environment.
- Describe the benefits and features of VMware Skyline.
- Explain the purpose of the main vSphere log files.
- Identify network issues based on reported symptoms, validate and resolve reported issues, identify root cause, and implement appropriate resolution.
- Analyze storage failure scenarios using logical troubleshooting methodology, identify the root cause and apply the appropriate resolution to resolve the issue.
- Troubleshoot vSphere cluster failure scenarios and investigate possible causes.
- Diagnose common VMware vSphere® High Availability problems and provide solutions.
- Identify and validate VMware ESXi™ and VMware vCenter Server® host problems, analyze failure scenarios and select the correct resolution.
- Troubleshoot virtual machines, including migration, snapshot, and connection issues.
- Troubleshooting performance issues with vSphere components
